best pistol(s) for IPSC

Just acquired my firearms license this week


went to local gun store today


I was originally looking at Glock 17 or 19 and CZ-75. They didn't have glocks in stock.


Guy asked me what I wanted to shoot, at the range or IPSC. IPSC has always interested me


He recommended CZ-75 Shadow for IPSC - reliable, upgraded sights, etc. I held both the CZ-75 and CZ-75 Shadow in my hand - felt phenomenal, great fit in my hands - and I liked the Shadow way better.


Read some reviews and it looks amazing. Any guys here have experience with IPSC and can share their thoughts on what they would use for IPSC shooting? Or, any guys have experience shooting with CZ-75 Shadow?

I don't know how much you shoot, but when I went researching for my gun, every gun expert in every store had a different recommendation for concealed carry. And wouldn't you know, they had that very gun in the store for me to buy today. My take is that you find someone who will order the gun you want.
