Life is like a game of Sims

Postby JoeBlack » Fri Aug 10, 2012 7:40 pm

I've finally tricked my mind, shifted my reality, and zoomed into the thought, and outlook that life is simply like a game of sims. Just like in an MMORG or any character customization, you would want your character to look badass. You would want YOUR charater to stand out more than the rest, so my question is, why not do that in REAL life? Real life is the best MMO you can play, because your character is YOU..think about it, put the effort into making yourself stand out amongst the rest, and I guarantee you, you'll begin to see the world in a whole new perspective 8-) .-JB

i agree and disagree with you.

you're logic makes sense, and that's how i looked at things awhile ago as well. however, it's not about becoming something you are not. it's about becoming the person that you want to be. two different things.

i went through a phase of going out dressed like mystery, because i thought that was the cool pua thing to do. well it wasn't. and i went through a lot of transitions. and then i started to discover who i really was, and started improving myself, but not acting like something that i'm not.

so i like the way you are thinking here, but look at is more as improving yourself and focusing on showcasing your strengths and learning to improve your weaknesses. rather than becoming someone else.

I get what your saying, but I didnt mean it the way you took it. Basically ment, imrpove your self as a human being, the effort you would put into creating a non existing character in a game, you could instead put that effort into bettering yourself in real life, physically, mentally, socially, ect ect..get it now?-JB
