I agree with what Science said. Get some more chicks. I've struggled with this too but it really does help, and I think Bravo told me this once, that the way to really be non-needy and come from a place of abundance (mentally) is to have options. Have a few chicks going. Then you don't care what one or the other does, she falls into line or she's out. It works!
