SLA editting

Postby Bondus » Thu Apr 26, 2012 2:05 pm

Have posted the fully comment on SLA after some editting of my Project London account

"Gentlemen,

This is not the full report as I sent it in. It is edited. In the original, I credit Bravo with a significant amount of the transformation I’ve undergone.

As I understand it Bravo is still an employee of The Stylelife Academy and therefore I want his contrubution fully recognised.

Kind Regards

Bondus"

He's not an employee!

He was a consultant/guest speaker for Stylelife a while back ... If you could call it that. They treated him like crap, and if I hadn't already blown my board just getting to see him (yes, I got kicked out as a result, but so worth it) I'd have stuck around and helped out some more.

What's with all this dinner and a movie stuff anyway? What happened to just going somewhere and fucking for 3 or 4 hours?

this is in regards to Bondus's AWESOME post about Project London (and the cool guys there)

Stylelife edited it, and now it reads like a SLA group thing, instead of a Bravohood thing

and my favorite part was also removed-

In Union there is strength. This forum is solid gold because of that motto. Collectively something close to what I imagine the beginnings of pickup were like is here on this forum right now. Just guys intent on trying to the steps necessary to make their dreams reality. All hail Bravo for making this happen!

dont like drama, but so all is clear

I use to work for them full time for years, but then was told they couldn't pay me (and approx 7 other employees) anymore and we were all let go

then they started not being very nice....

so to clarify, I do not work for them and have not for quite some time...basically as long as THIS place has been around

heartbreaking at the time...to see something I helped build slowly start to crumble to a shell of what once was...but it is what it is

and I wouldn't have this place and everyone here if things didn't happen exactly like they did

moving this to good + bad section, and removed some posts from the other threads, to clean up and not derail them with this

I posted a request for them to change their posting to credit Bravo. Got an automated response saying someone would reply within 48 hours (that was April 26, 2012 at 9:02 pm)....still waiting and think I may be for... well, eternity.

The realisation that's dawned on me this week is the Transform Yourself competition is just a conveyer belt system. By Tuesday, they will have someone else to post about, and this incident will all be consigned as a postscript in their history.

Just got this from Gypsy and now I'm paranoid. Do I trust it?

"Bondus,

I got the go ahead to edit your article back to it's original copy.

But I've misplaced the original. Can you re-send it to me at this address?"

Personally, I've got doubts about resubmitting it, got visions of it being used as laughing stock at their summit or the links being changed or something, because once it is out of my hands it is outside of my control.

Is this healthy scepticism or unbounded paranoia?
